Cedar Cider is a farm based cidery located in the Hazelmere Valley, South Surrey, British Columbia. Our focus is on 100% organic farming practices, growing heritage trees and picking the fruit by hand. We produce small batch natural ciders, using wild yeasts, barrel aging and barrel ferments to obtain complex flavours highlighting the unique qualities of the fruits. All of our product is unpasteurized and unfiltered, with no sugars or acids added. Best kept cold.
Our orchards were established to include dessert, bittersweet, and bittersharp apple varieties grown from heirloom and heritage trees. The orchards are located in the Campbell River Valley, along the Fraser River in Agassiz, and the north Arrow Lake in British Columbia. Any added ingredients we use are grown from our farm or locally sourced and foraged to showcase the versatile nature of cider and our surrounding areas in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest. The inspiration for natural ciders comes from a history and enjoyment of basque and west country styles from the old world.
